Bismuth Subcarbonate
Description and technical specifications
The Bismuth Subcarbonate (Bismuto Subcarbonato N) is an inorganic synergist that can be used in flame retardant formulations for Polypropilene. Normally it’s used in combination with other brominated flame retardants, such as brominated melamine, in order to achieve V2 level according to UL 94 regulation.
Modalità di utilizzo
Il plastificante può essere dosato direttamente nel polimero fuso tramite pompe e può essere pre-riscaldato al fine di ridurne la viscosità. Le percentuali tipiche di utilizzo sono comprese tra 10% e 20% in funzione del grado diplastificazione che si vuole ottenere.
